The Fast gangsaw represents the most advanced realization to date of modern techniques for the cutting of marble blocks with the use of diamond blades. The adoption of a system utilizing a block lifting platform, while maintaining the blade holder continuously at the same height and level of the flywheel group, makes it possible to obtain higher sliding velocity with a considerable increase in cutting speed and less consumption of the diamond blades themselves. This system guarantees, at the same time, a reduced solicitation of the machines-members as well as a reduction in maintenance costs.
